| 1959 | Entry of Herwig Gußmann | Through the successful activities of Herwig Gußmann the number of clients from the world of industry increased considerably. |
| 1966 | International | The first insurance placement with foreign insurers and on the London market. |
| 1968 | Gußmann Assekuranz KG, Insurance Brokers | The founding of this company marked the move to being an insurance broker independent of insurers. |
| 1984 | Introduction of IT | Ahead of the market and with great foresight the first generation of the broker software KluG was introduced. |

Founding of Gußmann Consultancy Services | In order to meet the growing need for counselling independent from insurance, a separate counselling company was set up. |

Protection for foreign locations | The internationalisation of trade led to providing cover for the first foreign locations. |
| 1992 | Founding of Gußmann Leipzig | After the fall of the Iron Curtain, Saxony was quickly seen to be a region of strong economic activity and a new company was set up locally. |
| 1998 | Construction of head office | After years of strong growth the old offices became too small and a new office complex of 1,600 m² was built. |

Bodo Gußmann joined the company after his training as an insurance broker and engineering degree, followed by years of practical experience in the insurance business. |
